How often can you clean my windows?
We can clean your windows on a one off basis, every 2 weeks, 4 weeks or 8 weeks. Most people who have their windows cleaned usually choose to have their windows cleaned every 4 weeks. We provide a service 12 months of the year as it is just as if not more important in the winter to keep your windows protected.
What is the recommended frequency to get my windows cleaned?
We recommend having your windows cleaned at least once every 4 weeks as this will ensure your window are clean & protected at all times all year round.
Is there any point in cleaning my windows if it is raining?
Yes as rain will only make your windows more dirty. Ww always aim to clean our customers’ windows with the best weather but it is not always possible. We only work in light rain/ showery days but if the weather is too bad that it becomes unsafe to work (heavy rain and high winds) we will be unable to clean your windows on your due date but we will usually be round on the next day. Please note during winter months the frequency of your service may vary as we can get pushed back due to shorter days and bad weather.
What does a Deep clean consist of?
A deep clean is very thorough and consists of 5 stages:
- All frames/ plastics (PVC) are sprayed with a higher dilution of professional window cleaner solution to loosen up tough grime and grease.
- A heavy duty microfiber sponge is then soaked in window cleaning solution and all plastics are scrubbed and then rinsed.
- Window cleaning solution is then added to the windows and then any obvious bits of debris or paint etc are shaved off using a razor sharp blade.
- Windows are soaked in solution again and then the water is wiped off.
- Finally your windows are polished so they are all clear with no smears and frames/ plastics are dried off leaving your windows with a clean lasting finish.
What is scraping and what does it do for my windows?
Window scraping is for windows that haven’t been cleaned for a long time and need restoring back to their new self. Window scraping involves using a razor sharp blade on your window to remove any build up of dirt, grime, paint and microscopic particles that attract dirt to your windows. By removing this it will improve your windows appearance and make the surface of the glass smoother so it is harder for dirt to stick leaving your windows clean and protected for longer.
How can I pay?
There are 2 options you can pay. These are Cash, Bank transfer to Monzo Account. Most customers pay by cash on the day of the clean but if you know you are never in during the day I can give you my details so you can make a quick and easy mobile bank transfer. Please note cheques are not accepted.
What if I’m not in when you come to clean my windows?
If we arrive and you are not in, if we can access your garden we are happy to clean your windows and leave a note to inform you that we have cleaned your windows.
